Scarce catalogue for the third and final edition of a series of exhibitions on (social) furniture organised at the museum of decorative arts, Ghent in 1957, just one year before the influential 1958 world exhibition in Brussels. With an introduction by conservator A.L.J. Van de Walle. Funny enough, all photographs are credited, but the furniture and designs are not, leading to a who’s who of mid-century furniture design.
