Concours Belges or Belgian Competitions was self-published by Michael Vanden Eeckhoudt and Christian Carez 1985 after a maquette by Mary Vanden Eeckhoudt. Printed by Carto in Brussels in an edition of 700 numbered and 50 copies numbered hors commerce. A well taught out publication with the embossed front board and 50 black and white reproductions. No introduction and text except for the titles and colophon.
This copy numbered 153 with peculiar pencil annotations throughout the publication. Most photographs have a date and pencil annotation, either gegeven or geg. at the bottom. Possibly related to the distribution or sale of prints featured on the book. Gegeven translates to given, but it seems unlikely that one would give away prints.
A good copy with some discoloration to the boards.
