Set of ebonised wooden blocks, 25 x 13 x 13 cm.
The Wiggly Blocks Dexterity Test was developed by Johnson O’Connor (1891-1973) to asses the ability to visualise objects in three-dimensional space. Nine wooden blocks with curved surfaces forming a parallelepiped. This set doesn’t have a maker’s mark but seems to have been produced by Lafayette Instrument Company. A nice set that looks almost unused. Psychological tests like this are rarely offered for sale.
Provenance: institutional deaccessioning.
A very nice set with a title label taped on one of the blocks.
